Product

Electronic appliances, such as smart phones and tablet PCs, getting smaller whereas functionality increases. Current manufacturing processes require extensive production facilities with high energy consumption, involve chemical metallization processes using large amounts of various toxic and hazardous chemicals and produce large amounts of waste water. Therefore, industry is looking for solutions to reduce production costs and deploy lean, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. At Clariant New Business Electronic Materials we develop solutions for sustainable manufacturing of electronic devices.


1.     PRELECT TPS 35HE � Nano Silver Conductive Ink

PRELECT TPS 35HE is a conductive ink for the inkjet application, based on silver nano particles which is suitable for the application with various standard industrial inkjet print heads, especially suitable for fine line printing, e.g. for Touch Sensor Interconnect.


Benefit:

    • Clariant developed PRELECT� TPS Nano Silver Conductive Inks, which allow to print conductive patterns for electronic devices directly on any surface
    • Hazardous chemical metallization processes are replaced by printing a water-based ink containing metal particles to form the electronic pattern
    • By using nanosized silver particles low curing temperatures are sufficient to create an electric conductor almost as conductive as pure silver
    • PRELECT�TPS inks can be printed with standard industrial inkjet print heads.



2.     PRELECT TPS 50 � Nano Silver Conductive Ink

PRELECT� TPS 50 is a conductive ink for the Aerosol Jet application, based on silver nano particles.
