InoMini System (Lab-scale)

The InoMini is a compact, robust lab unit for pilot-scale cross-flow filtration. It is the premier tool for feasibility trials and membrane suitability testing, providing critical data for seamless process scale-up.

Specifications and Description

Before implementing it into the manufacturing process, you can use the InoMini to conduct feasibility tests, allowing you to primarily evaluate the filtration performance of ceramic membranes for specific fluids.

Core Technical Specifications:

  • Operating limits: Max. operating pressure can reach up to 40 bar, and the max. working temperature is 60 °C.
  • Max. flow rate: Max. volume flow rate is 10 l/min.
  • Suitable filter elements: Specifically designed for single channel geometry ceramic filtration membranes with a length of 500 mm and an outer/inner diameter (OD/ID) of 10/7 mm.
  • Operating mode: Both system operation and data processing are under manual control.
  • Dimensions and weight: Dimensions are 940 x 660 x 850 mm (width x depth x height), and the weight is approx. 130 kg.

Equipment Components and Material Design:

Core components: The system features a built-in plunger pump, a double-walled container with a 4.5-liter capacity, a heat exchanger, a variable area flowmeter, and a pressure relief valve.

Highly resistant wetted parts: To handle various experimental fluids, all wetted parts (parts in contact with the liquid medium) are made of stainless steel, glass, and highly chemically resistant materials (such as FPM, NBR, EPDM, PTFE, TPX, PVC, etc.).

Accessories: The standard equipment includes a module housing and connections for cooling water. A table frame and a special testing cell for polymeric flat sheet membranes are available as optional additions.
