High-performance Ceramics

Rapal® series (Aluminum oxide, Al2O3)
● Offering high-purity grades from 99.6% to 99.9% , these ceramics feature extreme hardness, wear resistance, and high mechanical rigidity. They provide superior electrical insulation, chemical stability, and corrosion resistance.

Rapal® AZ series (toughened Al2O3)
● The Rapal® AZ series is primarily composed of alumina (Al2O3) with a 10% to 25% zirconia (Zro2) secondary phase. This precise formulation delivers a substantial increase in both the mechanical strength and structural toughness of the alumina base.

Zirconia series (Zirconia, Zro2)

● Engineered with specific stabilizers (Y2O3 or MgO) to tailor phase structures. Our portfolio includes high-strength Y-TZP, hydrothermally stable Mg-PSZ, and fully stabilized Y-FSZ for extreme chemical environments (pH 0–14).

Rapal® ZA series (toughened Zirconia)

● By synergizing the superior properties of Al2O3 and Zro2, the Rapal® ZA series achieves a dramatic enhancement in strength and toughness. The material is further refined with Cerium (Ce) and Yttrium (Y) stabilizers to ensure peak mechanical performance and phase stability.

Sildurit series (Silicon Nitride, Si3N4)

● Beyond standard insulating grades, Rauschert offers Sildurit E, a breakthrough conductive composite specifically developed for high-precision Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM).

Titania series (Titanium Dioxide, TiO2)

● Specialized materials engineered with varied electrical properties and color profiles to meet specific industrial and anti-static (ESD) requirements.

Altite® series (Aluminum Titanate, Al2TiO5)

● A synthetic high-performance ceramic composed of aluminum and titanium oxide compounds. Specifically engineered for applications requiring extreme thermal shock resistance and near-zero thermal expansion, Altite® also features superior non-wetting characteristics.

Silicate Ceramic (largest European manufacturer)
Rauschert is the largest manufacturer of silicate ceramic technical components in Europe and have a comprehensive range of materials.

Silicon Carbide and Sintered Silicon Carbide (SSiC)
Silicon carbide is characterised by its extreme hardness and good tribological properties. It is therefore a suitable material for sealing elements and applications with high mechanical wear.

Magnesium Oxide (Mgo)
Magnesium oxide is characterised by high thermal conductivity and good electrical insulation. It′s suitable for use in the electric heating sector.
